Why should I join?

Although attending the evening lecture at the meetings is free to all anaesthetists, your membership of the Society will support us in having the resources to attract the best national speakers for our meetings. It also entitles you to have dinner with your friends and colleagues at each evening meeting. This is an important aspect of our Society, as it provides a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where, some might say, the real purpose of the meeting takes place


How to join

The annual subscription fee is £50 for non-training grade anaesthetists, and £25 for physician assistants in anaesthesia. Currently, all  anaesthetic trainees, and those training to be physician assistants in anaesthesia, in the region are entitled to free membership.

Step 1:

Step 1: set up a standing order to pay the annual subscription fees. If you have access to online banking, then please use this to set up the standing order. The beneficiary details for the standing order are as follows:

The first payment should be the date that you join the LSA and subsequent payments should be on the same date annually.
